'Outstanding young Chinese-American pianist' (The Independent) Jessica Zhu presents her solo piano programme of ‘Powerful Women’, which includes the UK premiere of South Korean-American composer Hye Kyung Lee’s Gasp. The programme will consist entirely of works by living female composers, including distinguished British composer Judith Weir and 'Rising Star' (BBC Music Magazine, December 2011) Emily Howard.
